It has been an amazing few weeks for us! Our new company is up and running and our umbrellas are getting the reception we could only hope they would. People love the bright colours and designs!  Heather was right, colour is everything.  That said, that we have used the highest specification umbrella we could source, and create, which has also had an impact.

People appreciate the light-weight frame and the helpful features such as the sand screw and the towel hooks.   A comment made by one casual admirer sums it up perfectly: “these umbrellas must have been designed by women”.

All the hard work and stress associated with sourcing product and budgeting and re-budgeting is paying off.  We are going to appear in some of South Africa’s leading lifestyle and décor magazines in the run up to Christmas.  We have 30 stores stocking our product nationally and we are speaking with event management companies about the use of our umbrellas at their functions.  We are also working on some new ideas to extend the range and bring you even more beach beauty!
